I am fascinated by glass...reflections....surfaces.......
It occurred to me only a short while ago, that it would be interesting to take what I do on canvases and wood and experiment with it on glass...
I immediately fell in love with the idea that the owner of the piece could actually create their own context by moving the piece from room to room...
This is a result of the "emply spaces" which I purposely left...
The "Girl in Florida" is shocking in its' simplicity & power...
As with all of my work, there is a sense of mystery surrounding her....
I cannot stress to you enough how much more MAGNIFICENT this piece is in person...

It encorporates my 'signature' "painting extended onto the actual frame"...
