THE COLORS OF HIV
Toby Gotesman Schneier
Art plays an important part in helping WAM tell the story of HIV.
The Colors of HIV, original works by artist Toby Gotesman Schneier is a series that reflects many different aspects of HIV/AIDS. The paintings serve as visual representations of the emotional moments experienced by the families whose lives have been affected by the virus
Together, we can end stigma and continue documenting the
human experience of this disease until the last story is told.
*Permanent Installation

Holocaust Museum-
Dania Beach,Florida "Bitter Ironies"
Art Exhibition - Toby Gotesman Schneier Where: The Holocaust Documentation and Education Center, 303 N Federal Hwy, Dania Beach, FL 33004, USA Description:Toby Gotesman Schneier is a world-renowned artist/painter, recognized in particular for her Holocaust Collection. She has, in many regards, changed the face of how that horrific time is viewed by imbuing her paintings with an ironic and intriguing sense of bold and unabashed color. Her work specifically speaks to the parallel of what was happening outside in Germany and what was happening in the camps. Her work asks the question “what motivated the perpetrator?” |
